Artificial October was formed in 2005. It started as a high school pop-punk band in Isabela National High School (INHS). The original members were Jeremiah Erasquin, Aeron de la Cruz, Alejandro Ibañez and Zach Abarca. The band was first introduced to the public by the name "Kami ang Kudos". In the year 2008, the band has officially changed it's name to "Artificial October."

Their influences are Dashboard Confessional, Yellowcard, Daphne Loves Derby, Eraserheads, Kamikazee, New Found Glory, Radiohead and Switchfoot.

The band has been inactive since the members got separated to pursue their studies. Despite the band's momentary inactivity, their composer (Jeremiah Erasquin) still continues to write songs. He took the name of the band and continued releasing songs by himself.

Now, Artificial October is no longer a band. It's now a solo project by Jeremiah Erasquin.
